Undead Outbreak: Your real life plan

My original plan was to head to the Cableas that is about 20 minutes away. That plan went stale after a while though, because I realized everyone's first plan is to head to a store, and Cabelas would definitely be first on many peoples list, that live closer. Also, it is in a well populated area, so after a while it would be more trouble maintaining it than it is worth. So I would probably head up north to Canada or something, in hopes that the harsh winters would kill off any of the Undead that would venture that far north!

Zombies wouldn't be that hard to kill, I mean, you can kill a non-zombified(?) person pretty easily if you tried. I would steal honey and other easily preservable food from shops, and I would just beat the living @#$% out of any zombie that attacked me with a long, preferable metal object of any kind.

But most of the time I would just avoid them full stop.

No, they wouldn't be hard to kill one at a time, but once most of the population is a zombie, and they travel in groups, your odds go down, making it a lot harder. Not to mention other survivors, if you don't have a lot of the essentials before the infection starts, its going to be hard acquiring them the further you live away. I say this, because everyone will be attacking stores first in a panic, which would make it difficult if not impossible to get what you want, safely.
On top of that, after a while, if you are with a group, or just having trouble finding or getting your own food, you will become weaker and weaker. Now you see why it would get a little bit more difficult without a sufficient plan?
